A Luxury Yacht

Tiaré

46 M | 6 Cabins | 12 Guests

Tiaré is a 46-metre luxury yacht, a two masted Phinisi, built in 2016 in South Sulawesi from teak reclaimed from old Javanese Joglo houses. She was built by five Italian cousins around five things they share: the sea, diving, photography, cooking, and Indonesia. Six en suite cabins carry 12 guests, served by a dedicated camera room, a full dive operation and food guests speak highly about. As a luxury Phinisi, she is built for life on deck, from the shaded lounges of the main deck to the open sun deck above.

“Tiaré is the perfect blend of Italian flair, incredible diving, and seriously good food. Photographers love the onboard camera room.”

CHARACTER & DESIGN

On Board Tiaré

Tiaré is built almost entirely from reclaimed teak, timber that had a life ashore in old Joglo houses before it went to sea, which gives her a lived in warmth from the first day aboard. Life is spread across three decks.

A generous main deck with comfortable daybeds, a glass walled restaurant and lounge behind it, and a spacious sun deck with loungers above, so 12 guests are never short of a place to settle. The detailing stays quiet: white cushions, ikat pillows, a carved nameboard, and a row of louvred lockers.

ACCOMMODATION

Cabins on Tiaré

The six cabins sit on the lower deck: two with king beds, two twins, and two that take a third guest on a single. Every wall is the same reclaimed teak as the rest of her, slightly dark and close grained, marked here and there from its first life ashore.

Brass portholes let in rays of daylight above the bed, and a pair of glazed ceramic faces keeps watch over it. The en suites feature a stone basin, a pebbled shower wall, teak grating underfoot. Small spaces, warmly made, for the hours between dives.

Food & Beverages

Dining on Tiaré

Food is the passion that shows most, and guests rave about it. Two chefs cook to the owners’ Italian roots and to wherever she happens to be: focaccia from the galley oven, Italian cured meats and good olive oil, then sashimi cut from the morning’s catch, a coconut fish curry, satay off the grill.

A Greek salad at lunch, roast pork with romesco at dinner, champagne on ice when there is something to mark. The highly skilled chefs can easily adopt to preferences and dietary requirements without sacrificing the high standards.

Expert Insights on Tiaré

Barefoot’s take

Voyage Planner Laura from Barefoot Yachts Indonesia.

Tiaré suits divers and photographers who will not trade comfort for range. Small dive groups, a proper camera room, and a cusine that surprises people. For a family or a group who want the remote east done well, she is a natural fit.
