A Luxury Yacht

Rascal

30 M | 5 Cabins | 10 Guests

Rascal is a 30-metre Indonesian charter yacht with five guest cabins, designed for exquisite cruising through the eastern archipelago. Built by traditional Sulawesi shipbuilders using teak and ironwood, the yacht takes inspiration from the classic phinisi hull form but deliberately sacrifices the sailing masts in favour of a more open and comfortable layout. Interiors follow a relaxed coastal colour palette and are designed for easy, open-air living — offering a warm, contemporary setting for families or friends exploring Indonesia’s islands at an unhurried pace. Rascal Voyages takes a unique approach to service levels and guest experience, positioning the yacht as a market-leading vessel within our Luxury collection.

“Rascal is the twin sister of Rebel — these yachts especially appeal to couples with a taste for the authentic, whilst enjoying a floating boutique-hotel-esque experience.”

Deck-led Living

On Board Rascal

While Rascal’s build reflects the heritage of traditional Indonesian boatbuilding, the yacht was designed for modern charter cruising. By sacrificing the traditional sailing masts, the design creates noticeably more usable deck space and shapes the yacht around open, outdoor living.

Circulation on board feels easy and unhurried, with wide lounge areas and uninterrupted views across the surrounding seascape. Guests move naturally between shaded seating, the outdoor dining space at the stern, the rooftop deck above, and the indoor saloon, remaining closely connected to the water and islands beyond.

Accommodation

Cabins on Rascal

Rascal accommodates up to ten guests across five cabins arranged on the main and upper decks. All cabins are positioned above the waterline, allowing larger windows that bring natural light and views of the surrounding islands. Each cabin is designed with a calm and understated interior style, featuring warm teak finishes, natural textiles, and handcrafted details that reflect the yacht’s Indonesian heritage.

Subtle decorative elements and curated artwork add character without overpowering the space, creating cabins that feel both refined and relaxed. The five-cabin configuration works well for private charters and cabin voyages alike, offering both privacy and easy access to the yacht’s living areas.

Thoughtful Service at Sea

Food & Beverages

Food and service are central to the Rascal experience. The private chefs work from curated signature menus developed with Bali’s Watercress restaurant, preparing Asian fusion cuisine with an emphasis on depth of flavour and fresh regional ingredients.
Meals are mostly served in the spacious dining area at the stern, where the surrounding islands become part of the setting.

Supported by a generous crew-to-guest ratio, service remains attentive yet unforced. The crew moves discreetly through the rhythm of the day — from early coffee on deck to signature sunset canapés on the sun deck.

Insights on Rascal

Barefoot’s take

Voyage Planner Sebastian from Barefoot Yachts Indonesia.

During my own cruise through Komodo aboard Rascal, I was particularly impressed by the standard of the onboard cuisine — inventive menus, carefully balanced flavours, and presentation that would feel at home in a fine restaurant.
