A Luxury Yacht
Celestia
45 M | 7 Cabins | 14 Guests
Celestia is a 45-metre twin-masted Phinisi built in 2023 by the Konjo boat builders of Bulukumba — a Sulawesi community whose shipbuilding tradition carries UNESCO recognition. She accommodates 14 guests across seven suites, with a crew of up to 17 including a dedicated cruise director. Interior design is by Cape Town-based Deirdre Renniers, with naval architecture by Tresno Seery. The earthy palette draws on soft blues, natural stone, and woven rattan, with custom pieces sourced from Balinese artisans — a design language that feels connected to the islands she sails through.
The name suggests something celestial or quietly elevated, and that reading fits the yacht’s overall feel.
“Celestia tends to appeal to larger groups and families who appreciate space, design, and high-end service.”

Refined Space
On Board Celestia
Celestia is arranged to give larger private charters a strong sense of balance, with broad outdoor decks, generous lounging areas, and an interior that feels composed rather than crowded. The main indoor spaces create a retreat during the day, while the decks open out for slower mornings, time underway, and evenings at anchor.
Across the yacht, the atmosphere is more polished than rustic, with a clear emphasis on comfort, proportion, and ease of movement between shared spaces.
Heavenly Rest
Cabins on Celestia
The yacht has seven ensuite staterooms, including two upper-deck owner’s suites with private terraces and a main-deck master suite with its own terrace and sun deck. This gives the layout a rare degree of depth for private charters, particularly for families or groups where several lead guests.
The four guest staterooms on the lower deck complete the arrangement and allow the yacht to work well for mixed groups without losing overall flow. For multi-couple charters or multi-generational travel, that balance is especially useful.
Flavour & Artistry
Dining on Celestia
Dining on board Celestia moves comfortably between the interior dining space and the open decks, allowing the day to shift naturally with the weather, the anchorage, and the rhythm of the voyage. The layout gives meals a flexible setting, whether that means a slower breakfast indoors, lunch in the breeze, or a quieter evening outside.
Food is clearly one of the stronger parts of the experience, with menus shaped around Indonesian ingredients alongside broader international influences and unique creations by the chef.

Expert Insights on Celestia
Barefoot’s take
What stands out for me is the combination of Deirdre Renniers’ interior and the Konjo craftsmanship — the mid-century tendencies and earthy tones give the spaces on board warmth and personality.
